John was a long-time member of the Saint Louis University Board of Trustees.  He sat on several committees for the institution including the Executive Committee and the Technology Development and Information Systems Committee.  He also served consecutively as Chairman of the University's Building and Grounds Committee and the Human Resources Committee.    

 

Currently a Life Director of the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), John is past chairman and an active member of the AGC's Surety and Risk Management Committees.  He has served on Strategic Planning Task Groups at the local and national level of the AGC and he is past president of the AGC of St. Louis.   He is also Past Chairman of the Vermont Captive Insurance Association and a licensed insurance agent/broker in Missouri.

As president of Alberici Constructors, Greg works closely with LeRoy J. Stromberg, Chief Operating Officer at Alberici Constructors, and is responsible for the overall operations of the company.  Greg is also responsible for Alberici's operating companies in Canada and Mexico.

 

Greg joined Alberici in 2001 and served as President of Alberici Constructors, Ltd., which specializes in industrial and institutional construction in Canada.  Prior to joining Alberici, Greg spent eight years in senior level positions at Aecon Group Inc., a publicly traded company with operations in construction, manufacturing and environmental operations.  Prior to his career in the construction industry, Greg served as a Canadian diplomat and as Chief of Staff to Canada's Science Minister.

 

Greg holds a B.A. in economics and history from the University of Ottawa in Canada.  He earned a masters in Law and Diplomacy and a Ph.D. in International Relations from The Fletcher School, which is jointly administered by Tufts and Harvard University.

Prior to joining Alberici, Dave worked for Pizzagalli Construction of South Burlington, Vermont. There, he managed the upgrades to the award-winning $115,000,000 RM Clayton Wastewater Treatment Plant for the City of Atlanta. Safety was such a priority for Kress that of the 650,000 logged hours of construction there was not a single accident recorded. As a result of his dedication, the project was awarded the AGC Build America Award.

In addition to being an Instructor for the Civil Engineering department at St. Louis Community College, Florissant Valley, Ron helped establish and implement Alberici University.  Ron also sits on the Board of Directors of the local chapter of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (St. Louis Minority Business Council) and also sits on the Board of Directors of the St. Louis Union Construction Center, a minority and women business incubator program.

Patricio Barbará de Parres is President of Marhnos-Alberici, a subsidiary of Alberici Group. Patricio holds a Master's in Construction Engineering and Project Management from Stanford University and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the Universidad Iberoamericana of Mexico City, Mexico.  Patricio won a Scholarship from the Fulbright Commission for Graduate Studies in the U.S.  He was also the Valedictorian for Civil Engineering while at Universidad Iberoamericana. 

 

In his 16 year career, Patricio has worked throughout California and Mexico.  Prior to Marhnos-Alberici, Patricio founded Nueva Ingeniería, S.A. de C.V. in Mexico City, Mexico where he served as its President. Nueva Ingeniería specialized in residential and commercial construction including apartment buildings, high-end housing, restaurants and offices.

Gregory T. Hesser serves as Chief Financial Officer for Alberici Group Inc and is responsible for corporate finance and project-related financial services for all Alberici Enterprises.  A 1988 graduate of Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, MO, Greg earned a bachelor's degree in Accounting and is also a Certified Public Accountant.   more >

Frank Kropiunik  Alberici's Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Support Services, ensures the organization's technology deployment and support services teams are in accurate alignment with Alberici's corporate strategies.  Frank is responsible for Alberici's Information Technology, Office Operations, Project Controls and Quality Services Departments.  Frank is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia and one of Alberici's 20-year veterans.

 

Frank oversees technology purchases, implementations and enables competitive business practices by keeping the corporation abreast with the most cost-effective and reliable information and communication solutions.  He utilizes a centralized property management system to facilitate and administer all of Alberici's U.S. facilities.  Project Controls have taken a market-focused approach and are based upon an open-platform and service-oriented focus.  Similarly, Frank is responsible for the management of the organization's quality services teams and their alignment, integration and facilitation of construction quality initiatives with key performance indicators.

Jim Frey is Senior Vice President of Administration and the Contract Review Officer for Alberici Group. Jim Frey is Senior Vice President of Administration and the Contract Review Officer for Alberici Group. Jim attended the University of Missouri - Rolla, where he graduated with a B.S. in Civil Engineering in 1974.  In 1996, Jim completed the Executive Program for Growing Companies from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.  Before joining Alberici in 1996, Jim was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer with Korte Construction of St. Louis, Missouri.

 

Frey engages the industry and community through participation on various boards and chairmanships in education, the arts and healthcare.  He serves on the Fontbonne University Board of Trustees; is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Associated General Contractors of St. Louis where he served as Chairman of the Board in 2002; is Management Co-Chair of PRIDE of St. Louis, a labor management organization; and is the Chairman of the Advisory Board for the Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering of Missouri University of Science & Technology.

Denay Davis  is Vice President of Employee Services.  In this role, she oversees human resource functions including Alberici's Diversity Initiative,  HRIS, compensation, benefits design, recruiting and training/development.   Denay is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources and a graduate of Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management.  She also holds a Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management from Washington University. more >

As Vice-President and General Counsel,  Trevor Ladner leads corporate strategic and tactical legal initiatives for Alberici Group. Before coming to Alberici in 2005, Trevor served as Corporate Counsel for Aecon Construction Group of Toronto, Canada. He received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of British Columbia. Active in several professional organizations, Trevor is a member of the Missouri Bar, the Law Society of Upper Canada, the American and Canadian Bar Associations and the Association of Corporate Counsel, and was the recipient of the Canadian Risk Management designation from the Global Risk Management Institute.

Thomas' commitment to green building goes beyond his work with Vertegy.  Taylor is Vice Chair of the ANSI-Green Building Initiative Standards Development Committee, served as the 2004-2005 Chair of the Green Construction Task Force and was the 2004 Outreach Committee Chair for the St. Louis Regional Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council.  He also is the founding member of the Team for Regional Excellence in Energy and Environmental Design (TREEED).  Thomas graduated from Southern Illinois University with a B.S. in Business Management with an emphasis in Construction Management.  Thomas is a LEED® Accredited Professional and an ISO 9002 Internal Auditor, AAIM.
