John Alberici is Chairman of the Board for Alberici Corporation.  His vision for Alberici is that the company live on generation after generation as a successful and independent organization, providing opportunities for exceptionally fulfilling work.  His responsibility is to insure the long-term viability of all Alberici enterprises and to increase the company's value for shareholders, employees, clients and other stakeholders. 

John was a long-time member of the Saint Louis University Board of Trustees.  He sat on several committees for the institution including the Executive Committee and the Technology Development and Information Systems Committee.  He also served consecutively as Chairman of the University's Building and Grounds Committee and the Human Resources Committee.    

Currently a Life Director of the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), John is past chairman and an active member of the AGC's Surety and Risk Management Committees.  He has served on Strategic Planning Task Groups at the local and national level of the AGC and he is past president of the AGC of St. Louis.   He is also Past Chairman of the Vermont Captive Insurance Association and a licensed insurance agent/broker in Missouri.

Greg Kozicz is Chief Executive Officer and President of Alberici Corporation, as well as President of Alberici Constructors.  As CEO of Alberici Corporation, he serves as the corporation's official link to our Board of Directors.  His primary responsibilities include maximizing shareholder return, leading corporate strategy and maintaining communication with employees, clients and organizations critical to the success of the corporation.  Greg was named President of Alberici Corporation in September 2005 and brings nearly 20 years of experience in construction and project development to his position.

As president of Alberici Constructors, Greg works closely with LeRoy J. Stromberg, Chief Operating Officer at Alberici Constructors, and is responsible for the overall operations of the company.  Greg is also responsible for Alberici's operating companies in Canada and Mexico.

Greg joined Alberici in 2001 and served as President of Alberici Constructors, Ltd., which specializes in industrial and institutional construction in Canada.  Prior to joining Alberici, Greg spent eight years in senior level positions at Aecon Group Inc., a publicly traded company with operations in construction, manufacturing and environmental operations.  Prior to his career in the construction industry, Greg served as a Canadian diplomat and as Chief of Staff to Canada's Science Minister.

Greg holds a B.A. in economics and history from the University of Ottawa in Canada.  He earned a masters in Law and Diplomacy and a Ph.D. in International Relations from The Fletcher School, which is jointly administered by Tufts and Harvard University.

As Chief Operating Officer, LeRoy Stromberg  provides oversight in the construction and operations matters of all business units for Alberici Constructors, Inc.   He has corporate responsibility for safety, labor relations and workforce issues for all Alberici business units. He has nearly 30 years of experience in the construction industry and has spent all of those years with Alberici. 

LeRoy is a graduate of Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, MO, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Business Management and minor in Construction Technology. His experience includes heavy civil, rigging and millwright installations, steel erection, concrete construction and demolition for the automotive, aeronautical, food and beverage, alternative energy and government business sectors.

David Gough is Vice-President and Market Leader with corporate responsibilities for Alberici's General Building and Healthcare markets.  Joining Alberici in 1980 as an Estimator, he has since worked extensively in the healthcare, as well as commercial and gaming markets.

Dave has over 27 years of experience working with some of the region's largest healthcare providers  and general building clients.  He received his B.S. in Construction Technology in 1980 from Murray State University and holds contractor's licenses in the states of Florida and Colorado.

Craig Fesler, Vice President of Alberici's Energy and Industrial Division, is responsible for the management, operations and profitability of Alberici's energy/industrial construction projects.  He received his B.A. in Mathematics from Saint Louis University in 1991 and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Washington University in 1993.  

Craig joined Alberici as a Project Engineer in 1996 and has worked with Ameren, Boeing, Buzzi-Unicem, Frito-Lay, Harrah's, Hunt Group, Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewer District and the Tennessee Air national Guard on a variety of successful projects.

Dave Kress is Vice President and Market Leader for Alberici's Water/ Wastewater Division. Dave joined Alberici in 2005 with nearly 40 years of construction experience, having worked throughout the East Coast and Mid-West.

Prior to joining Alberici, Dave worked for Pizzagalli Construction of South Burlington, Vermont. There, he managed the upgrades to the award-winning $115,000,000 RM Clayton Wastewater Treatment Plant for the City of Atlanta. Safety was such a priority for Kress that of the 650,000 logged hours of construction there was not a single accident recorded. As a result of his dedication, the project was awarded the AGC Build America Award.

Mark Okroy is Vice-President and Market Leader for Alberici's Automotive Division where he is responsible for the company's OEM, tier one supplier and tooling projects. Mark attended Macomb Community College and Oakland Community College, and joined Alberici in 1994. Okroy has worked extensively with national carmakers like Chrysler and General Motors in both the U.S. and Canada.  Mark is also General Manager of Alberici's Great Lakes Region (GLR) office in Livonia, a suburb of Detroit.

Don Oberlies is the Market Leader for Alberici's Food and Beverage and Alternative Energy markets.  He also serves as a Project Director on several projects.  Don brings a combination of 26 years of experience in the design and construction of a variety of food processing, research facilities and pilot plants. 

Don is a graduate of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Indiana and received a B.S. Mechanical Engineering degree.  In addition to being a registered professional engineer, he is also a member of Pi Tau Sigma Honorary Mechanical Engineering Fraternity.

Steve Olson, Senior Vice-President, is responsible for leading Alberici's major business acquisition activities with a primary focus on the Healthcare and General Building Markets.  With engineering and construction experience spanning more than 25 years, he has successfully managed projects and developed new business in a variety of construction markets in the U.S. and internationally.  

Steve is a registered Professional Engineer and a graduate of Bradley University with a B.S. Civil Engineering degree magna cum laude.  Before joining Alberici in 2002, Olson was Vice-President at BE&K's North Star Communications Group where he was General Manager of the Central Region and also responsible for Corporate Development.  Prior to BE&K, he worked for Fluor Daniel and Rust Engineering as a Project Engineer and Project Manager.

William (Bill) R. Ahal is Vice-President of Preconstruction Services and is responsible for leading and managing Alberici's preconstruction department which provides estimating, value engineering, scheduling and constructability services.  He attended University of Missouri-Rolla and graduated with a B.S. in Civil Engineering in 1976.

Joining Alberici in 2005, Bill brings 31 years of experience in not only preconstruction services, but also project management, safety and marketing.  Bill has extensive experience in education, distribution facilities, healthcare, utilities, heavy industrial and civil projects.  He is currently the Chair for the AGC of America Safety and Health Committee and a member of the Construction Management Association of America (CMMA), the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE).

Dave Calcaterra, Vice-President, has worked at Alberici Constructors since 1983 after graduating from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering. Dave is currently the Project Director for the Washington Group/Alberici Joint Venture that is building Holcim's new $1 billion cement plant in St. Genevieve, Missouri.

During his tenure at Alberici, Dave has worked on several significant automotive, industrial and general building projects. His portfolio includes the $178,000,000 design/build of the 1.7M SF General Motors Lansing Delta Township Assembly Complex and the $49,600,000, state-of-the-art Boeing Leadership Center.

Joseph E. Turner is Vice-President of Operations with over 36 years of experience with Alberici Constructors and is currently supporting the Water/Wastewater Market. Joe is responsible for construction management of mega-projects with duties including project safety, design monitoring, design review, staff management, schedule and cost.  

He received a certificate from Texas A&M University for Structural Steel Fabrication Process and also attended St. Louis Community College for Construction Management and Construction Technology.  Since joining Alberici in 1971, Joe has acquired expertise in the automotive, general building, industrial, power, food and beverage and water/wastewater markets.

Ron Wiese is Vice-President of Estimating where he directs approximately 20 estimators and procurement professionals in St. Louis, Detroit, and Atlanta.  He also oversees all estimating, bidding and the procurement process for projects in the markets of automotive, heavy civil, water and waste water treatment, food and beverage, manufacturing and industrial process. 

Prior to joining Alberici Constructors in 1988, Ron attended Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville, Illinois and received his Associate's degree in Civil Engineering from St. Louis Community College at Meramec in 1974.  Ron is committed to sharing the lessons-learned from his 30-plus years of experience and has served on the Advisory Boards at Florissant Valley Community College and Southern Illinois University Construction Management Program. 

In addition to being an Instructor for the Civil Engineering department at St. Louis Community College, Florissant Valley, Ron helped establish and implement Alberici University.  Ron also sits on the Board of Directors of the local chapter of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (St. Louis Minority Business Council) and also sits on the Board of Directors of the St. Louis Union Construction Center, a minority and women business incubator program.

Michael W. Burke is Vice-President and General Manager of Hillsdale Fabricators, a wholly owned subsidiary of Alberici Constructors which fabricates structural steel. Mike graduated from the University of Missouri, Rolla, where he received his B.S. in Civil Engineering and his M.S. in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Construction Management. Recently, Mike was involved in the $325M environmental upgrade to the AmerenUE Coffeen Power Station.

Before coming to Hillsdale in 1996, Mike's work as a Project Engineer for Chicago Bridge and Iron Company Limited took him around the world. Working in the Caribbean, Portugal and the Netherlands, he was responsible for planning, scheduling and tracking of maintenance and construction work, drafting and layout of new and revised construction, and material coordination.

Matt Grieshaber is Vice-President and General Manager of Kienlen Constructors, a subsidiary of Alberici Constructors.  Matt is responsible for all aspects of Kienlen Constructors, as well as responsibility for Alberici Constructors' Equipment/ Warehouse/Maintenance Department and self-perform labor forces.

Managing projects in several different markets provides Matt with a strong base of experience which includes healthcare, general building, higher education and automotive.  Matt is a graduate of the University of Missouri, Rolla, where he received his B.S. in Civil Engineering, and is also a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Missouri.

Sherman Ladner is president of Alberici's Canadian enterprise, Alberici Constructors, Ltd. (ACL).  He oversees the entire operations of the company, which is based in Burlington, Ontario.  Sherman brings more than 27 years of experience in all phases of construction, estimating, design, contracts and operations to his new position.

Prior to joining Alberici, Sherman was president of Aecon Industrial, a Canadian company focused on industrial construction and fabrication.  He also served on the senior management team for Aecon Group, Inc., a publicly traded company with operations in construction, manufacturing and environmental operations.  Sherman earned an engineering degree from Ryerson Polytechnical Institute as well as a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Toronto.

Steve Moffatt, Senior Vice-President of Operations for Alberici Constructors, Ltd. (ACL), is responsible for all projects in his market segment and large special projects, consistently implementing management systems and practices across assigned projects.  Steve's 20-plus years of experience has taken him to work in food and beverage and general building markets.  Since joining Alberici in 1990, he has worked extensively in the automotive market utilizing his experience on projects for the Ford Motor Company of Canada Limited and the $70 million Windsor Assembly Plant for DaimlerChrysler Canada Inc.  

Steve is a graduate of George Brown College where he received his B.S. in Construction Engineering Technology Management.  In 1994, Moffatt was awarded the Canadian Construction Association Gold Seal Certificate for Project Superintendent – General Contracting (G.S.C.).  He is also a Certified Member of a Joint Health and Safety Committee as defined by the Workplace Health and Safety Agency, and belongs to the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians & Technologists (C.E.T.).

As Senior Director of Operations Services for ACL, Bud Freeze is responsible for developing, managing and mentoring a group of support services that will lead the overall direction of project execution and will assist and support the operations group in the areas of safety, quality, project controls (including project planning & scheduling), tools & equipment and centralized purchasing.

Francesca Ottoni is Director of Business Acquisition for Alberici Constructors Ltd. and is responsible for driving the acquisition of new business for the Canadian market.  As a member of ACL's Executive Committee, she also plays a significant role in developing corporate strategy and business planning.  

Before coming to Alberici in 2002, Francesca was a Team Leader and Project Manager for GEM Engineering in San Diego, California.  Francesca graduated from Concordia University in Montreal with a Bachelor of Engineering and acquired her Professional Engineers designation in Mechanical Engineering in 2000.  She received her Master's of Business Administration from Queen's University in 2002.

Cynthia Moffatt is the Senior Director, Corporate Services for Alberici Constructors, Ltd. (ACL). She is responsible for the overall strategy around sustainability and developing the organization's capacity for long-term continuity of its business.  As a member of the Executive Committee, her focus is on organizational development and providing leadership in the areas of Employment Resources, Communications and Facilities Management.      

Cynthia is a Certified Professional Coach and holds credentials from The Coaches Training Institute and The International Coach Foundation.  Prior to her work with Alberici, Cynthia worked in public relations and advertising.  Cynthia was the recipient of the "Alberici Award  - Employee Development"  in 2006. 

 Jeff Tyers is General Manager of Hillsdale Structures.  He has responsibility for managing the resources and activities for structural steel erection on projects for Alberici Constructors', Ltd. (ACL-Canada).  Since joining Alberici in 2003, Jeff has been responsible for the steel erection on several different automotive, water/wastewater and utility projects.

Jeff attended Fanshawe College in London, Ontario where he studied Construction Engineering Technology.  Prior to Alberici, he worked with Blenkhorn-Sayers Structural Steel Corp of St. Catharines, Ontario as an Estimator and Project Manager. 

Patricio Barbará de Parres is President of Marhnos-Alberici, a subsidiary of Alberici Group. Patricio holds a Master's in Construction Engineering and Project Management from Stanford University and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the Universidad Iberoamericana of Mexico City, Mexico.  Patricio won a Scholarship from the Fulbright Commission for Graduate Studies in the U.S.  He was also the Valedictorian for Civil Engineering while at Universidad Iberoamericana. 

In his 16 year career, Patricio has worked throughout California and Mexico.  Prior to Marhnos-Alberici, Patricio founded Nueva Ingeniería, S.A. de C.V. in Mexico City, Mexico where he served as its President. Nueva Ingeniería specialized in residential and commercial construction including apartment buildings, high-end housing, restaurants and offices.

Gregory T. Hesser serves as Chief Financial Officer for Alberici Group Inc and is responsible for corporate finance and project-related financial services for all Alberici Enterprises.  A 1988 graduate of Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, MO, Greg earned a bachelor's degree in Accounting and is also a Certified Public Accountant.   

Greg joined Alberici in 1997 as assistant controller from the St. Louis-based public accounting firm, Wolfe Nilges Nahorski, PC.  Prior to being named CFO, Greg served Alberici as Controller and most recently, Vice President of Corporate Finance. 

Frank Kropiunik  Alberici's Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Support Services, ensures the organization's technology deployment and support services teams are in accurate alignment with Alberici's corporate strategies.  Frank is responsible for Alberici's Information Technology, Office Operations, Project Controls and Quality Services Departments.  Frank is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia and one of Alberici's 20-year veterans.

Frank oversees technology purchases, implementations and enables competitive business practices by keeping the corporation abreast with the most cost-effective and reliable information and communication solutions.  He utilizes a centralized property management system to facilitate and administer all of Alberici's U.S. facilities.  Project Controls have taken a market-focused approach and are based upon an open-platform and service-oriented focus.  Similarly, Frank is responsible for the management of the organization's quality services teams and their alignment, integration and facilitation of construction quality initiatives with key performance indicators.

Jim Frey is Senior Vice President of Administration and the Contract Review Officer for Alberici Group. He is responsible for contract administration for both owner and subcontractor contracts.  In addition, he is a member of Alberici's Project Review Committee and a member of the Board of Directors of Alberici Corporation.

Jim attended the University of Missouri - Rolla, where he graduated with a B.S. in Civil Engineering in 1974.  In 1996, Jim completed the Executive Program for Growing Companies from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.  Before joining Alberici in 1996, Jim was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer with Korte Construction of St. Louis, Missouri.

Frey engages the industry and community through participation on various boards and chairmanships in education, the arts and healthcare.  He serves on the Fontbonne University Board of Trustees; is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Associated General Contractors of St. Louis where he served as Chairman of the Board in 2002; is Management Co-Chair of PRIDE of St. Louis, a labor management organization; and is the Chairman of the Advisory Board for the Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering of Missouri University of Science & Technology.

Denay Davis  is Vice President of Employee Services.  In this role, she oversees human resource functions including Alberici's Diversity Initiative,  HRIS, compensation, benefits design, recruiting and training/development.   Denay is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources and a graduate of Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management.  She also holds a Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management from Washington University.

Denay joined Alberici as Director, Office Operations in 2001.  She was responsible for all aspects of facility management, records management, office and administrative staff, and new office start-ups and relocations.  Prior to Alberici, she was a Logistics Engineer for Ryder Integrated Logistics. 

As Vice-President and General Counsel,  Trevor Ladner leads corporate strategic and tactical legal initiatives for Alberici Group. His responsibilities include advising on company strategies and their implementation, managing the legal and contract risk management function and obtaining/overseeing the work of outside legal counsel.

Before coming to Alberici in 2005, Trevor served as Corporate Counsel for Aecon Construction Group of Toronto, Canada. He received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of British Columbia. Active in several professional organizations, Trevor is a member of the Missouri Bar, the Law Society of Upper Canada, the American and Canadian Bar Associations and the Association of Corporate Counsel, and was the recipient of the Canadian Risk Management designation from the Global Risk Management Institute.

Thomas Taylor is Vice-President and General Manager of Vertegy, a sustainable consulting company specializing in automotive, building, healthcare, manufacturing and food and beverage markets.  His leadership of Vertegy was responsible for the sustainable aspects of Alberici's St. Louis corporate headquarters, currently one of the "greenest" buildings in the world with LEED^® Platinum certification and four USGBC Green Globes.

Thomas' commitment to green building goes beyond his work with Vertegy.  Taylor is Vice Chair of the ANSI-Green Building Initiative Standards Development Committee, served as the 2004-2005 Chair of the Green Construction Task Force and was the 2004 Outreach Committee Chair for the St. Louis Regional Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council.  He also is the founding member of the Team for Regional Excellence in Energy and Environmental Design (TREEED).  Thomas graduated from Southern Illinois University with a B.S. in Business Management with an emphasis in Construction Management.  Thomas is a LEED^® Accredited Professional and an ISO 9002 Internal Auditor, AAIM.
