Seasonal internships and co-ops at Alberici provide exciting opportunities for college students to get real-world, hands-on experience in many different aspects of the construction industry.  An Alberici internship or co-op often becomes the training ground for future employees.

Alberici interns and co-op students have their skills challenged on a variety of actual projects. Missouri State University senior, Kelly Hequembourg, was thrilled to have worked on everything from general building to specialized equipment installations during his time at Alberici rather than be a mere “go-fer.”  “The project manager helped me learn by doing,” explains Kelly. “I fielded questions from the owner, the design firm on-site and our labor forces.”  And, as Kelly can attest, the practical experience interns gain enhance their classroom studies. “I learned things at Alberici I never would have learned in school."

Students experience a variety of workplace realities during their time at Alberici. They learn the importance of safety and attitude, and how to be a team player. They learn how to tackle problems. They experience employees who are organized and passionate about what they do. And, they earn the reward for hard work:  a paycheck.

To be considered for one of our programs, students should have completed at least one year of college. If you are a school representative or  student  interested in our internship program, we’d love to hear from you.

If you are sponsoring an engineering or construction career fair, our employment resources representatives would like to attend. Please send your event information to Employment Resources at employment@alberici.com.
