First Time in Company’s 87-Year History
St. Louis, MO (March 21, 2006) – Alberici Corporation announced today that the company’s revenue for 2005 reached $1.033 billion dollars. This is the first time in the company’s history that it has surpassed the billion-dollar mark in revenue. Alberici also reported that its backlog of work remains steady from year ago and is currently at $1.2 billion dollars.
“This is a major milestone for Alberici,” said Greg Kozicz, president, Alberici Corporation. “In 2004, revenue for the company was at $600 million. By crossing the $1 billion mark in 2005, we’ve increased revenue by more than 70% percent. While the billion-dollar mark in itself wasn’t a goal, we are extremely pleased with the smart-growth it represents,” said Kozicz.
Alberici attributes the increase in revenue to the direct growth experienced by all of its business enterprises. “Each of our business units serve specific needs within the construction industry, and we were able to leverage our expertise in areas where construction is in demand,” said Kozicz. Alberici is an international construction services company with offices throughout the Americas.
