Mizzou Arena - Steel Fabrication & Erection
Alberici Constructors and Hillsdale Fabricators, an Alberici Enterprise, were chosen as the subcontract fabricator and erector for University of Missouri - Columbia's largest construction project in history. Mizzou Arena was a success by all accounts. "On schedule and in budget, baby" as described by University of Missouri's Athletic Director Mike Alden.
The scope included barrel roof trusses (trusses with uniform radiuses spanning their entire length), column and roof beam framing. Alberici also installed the metal deck on the project.
The new building has 25 private suites, 1,000 club-level seats with access to a private club lounge and 80 loge box seats, with a total capacity exceeding 15,000.
