Major components include the main water treatment facilities, 15 million gallon underground disinfection reservoir, high service/backwash pump station, gravity thickeners, residuals processing building, generator building and surge control station.
Alberici also installed equipment in the plant including the vacuum cleaning system, sedimentation and thickening equipment, and chemical mixing and injection equipment.
Alberici worked closely with the Municipal Utilities District and its engineer, HDR, to ensure the project was completed on budget, safely and with the highest quality.
